Vagabonds Ladies are readying for their first home game of the season as Eccles Ladies visit the island.
The last team between the two saw Vagas secured a 19-0 win.
So far the 2024/25 season has seen contrasting fortunes for the sides, Vagas taking a heavy beating at Eccles, while Eccles won away at Littleborough.
Vagas have said: “Jules Harrison makes her comeback at the inside centre after her maternity break, adding experience and vision to the backline. Meanwhile, Sophie Henry returns to her spot in the forward pack at flanker, where her aggressive play at the breakdown will be key to gaining control in the loose.
“Adding further firepower, Vagabonds will also see the debut of several exciting new players. Speedsters Iona Lea and Freya Crowe will be making their first appearance, bringing pace and dynamism to the match. In the forward pack, the powerful Hannah Kissack will be waiting on the bench, ready to make an impact with her physicality and strong ball-carrying ability.”
