Vagabonds Ladies Team has thanked sponsors for supporting four of its players to play for Cheshire County.
Becka Hicks, Leona McGovern, Maylyn Campbell, and Maisie Murray were selected to join the Cheshire County rugby squad.
Every Wednesday, they travel over from the Isle of Man to Cheshire for training, which the club said has “been an intense but incredible experience so far”.
It added: “With the first match coming up during TT practice week, things are stepping up a notch and they couldn’t be more ready.
“But honestly, Vagabonds Ladies wouldn’t’t even be able to do this without some amazing people supporting from behind the scenes.”
The club also praised all of its local sponsors who have supported the players in being able to travel.
It added: “It’s such an honour to represent both Cheshire and the Isle of Man — we hope to make the island proud. Keep following along on our socials, and you’ll see us in action (and in our smart new jackets!).”
