Vagbonds Ladies Team have raised more than £1,100 in an astonishing 24 hours on Douglas Promenades.
The club’s players and coaches ran, walked and danced through the night to raise money for Isle Listen and their off-island travel.
After just 12 hours, the team had covered a combined 270KM (167.77) with glow sticks and puppies keeping their spirits up through the night.
Even more impressively, coach Jack Caine was there for the full 24 hours!
With cash donations still being counted, the club said: “Our 24-Hour Challenge officially came to an epic end at 2pm today and what a journey it’s been!
“Massive shout out to Jack, our powerhouse coach, who ran and walked for the FULL 24 HOURS (yes, seriously
)! Meanwhile, the rest of us incredible ladies kept the momentum going in shifts of 3–6 hours, bringing energy & laughs to every step of the way.”
“We’re SO grateful to everyone who donated, cheered us on, and came out to support. Your kindness means the world.”
You can still donate to the team’s efforts here.
