Onchan residents will have the chance to elect a new commissioner today as three men seek election to the board.
The winner will only serve until the all-island elections in the spring.
Earlier this week issues with polling cards being delayed due to issues at the Post Office were reported, but anyone who is registered and eligible to vote will be able to whether they have received a polling card or not.
The polling station is at the Hub on School Road, with the polls open from 8am until 8pm.
The candidates are Nigel Dobson, Oliver Lockwood and Scott Wilson.
