Eight finalists have been shortlisted for this year’s Douglas City Centre Management (DCCM) Customer Service Champion award.
The public vote opens this week to select one winner from the finalists, who work in roles across the capital’s retail and hospitality sectors.
Voters must visit the DCCM Facebook page and ‘like’ the photo of their chosen finalist.
The nominees are: Romilda Dentith (Café Royale), Nathan Stephens-Silverthorne (M&S), Mirella Annis (Boots), Kenny Susaya (TK Maxx), Rachel Marsland (Terry’s Tatos), Connie Watson (Winedown), Daren Connor (TE Jones), and Jack Bridson (Devereau’s).
Champion
The champion will receive a trophy and a £200 voucher. Two runners-up get £100 and £50 vouchers respectively. All nominees will be presented with a plaque.
Douglas City Centre Manager Oliver Cheshire said: “It’s hard to believe we are approaching a decade of the Customer Service Champion, a campaign which is not only extremely popular amongst the voting public but also recognises and celebrates the amazing talent we have among Douglas businesses and makes us think about customer service.”
He added: “With internet sales rising every year, the more we can do to promote the benefits of great human interaction in retail and hospitality can only be a good thing.”
Voting runs from Wednesday until 9am on February 4.
