Coastlines were battered at high tide this morning, as Storm Boelo continued to have an impact on the island.
The severe gales are due to subside as they day goes on.
But high tide just before lunch today (October 25) saw a number of seafronts take a bashing from the waves.

Take Care
A government spokesperson said: “The worst of Storm Boelo has now passed, but conditions remain windy, with an amber weather warning still in place.
“Crews have been working through the night to clear fallen trees and debris, protect against flooding and restore power.
“There may still be hazards on roads, pavements and footpaths, so please take care if you are out and about today.”
An update on the remaining road closures is expected this afternoon.
