Weather-Fish (Think Catfish: The TV Show)

This weekend the weather is going to catfish us all into thinking it’ll be great, plot-twist: it’s not.

Weather summary: Saturday will be cute vibes, Sunday will be hellish.

By hellish I mean: trees down, travel chaos, missing wheelie bins and panic shoppers (tossers) ensue to take over Tesco.

Catfish Day

Today will be the catfish. For those who haven’t watched Catfish, A.) where have you been? B.) get amongst and watch it.

Basically, Catfish in a summery is someone who pretends on social media to be someone different, in order to trick or attract other people:

Equally, your Granny or father may have experienced a catfish, but in the form of online scammers – you know when someone pretends to be your bank and robs you of a few 100 quid.

Or when King Jamal from Kenya emails you a heartfelt email asking for £1000 worth of Bitcoin in exchange for £10k, we all know what I mean so don’t attack if I’ve written it wrong.

I was actually mask-fished during Covid, but thats a story for another time.

Yes, so anyway, it’ll be dry and sunny today with a generally moderate southwest breeze.

However, overnight into Sunday is when the winds will increase and show us that actually we are not in for a nice weekend.

The Truth

The truth is revealed, tomorrow will be the weather equivalent of when Nev finds out Jenny isn’y Jenny, she is actually Morris who just likes winding everyone up.

Anyway, basically the rest of the weekend won’t be sunny and dry, it’ll be wet and windy with gusts of up to 70mph likely.

Heavy rain and gales or severe gales will develop tomorrow morning, with travel disruption likely.

Then becoming dry later in the afternoon as winds begin to slowly ease.

Outlook

Dare I say look weeks look rather settled, so far, however we all know that could change.

Monday is forecast to be clear with sunny intervals and only isolated showers.

It’ll be a little bit breezy at first with a SW 20-25, occasionally 30 in places, before decreasing 15-20 in the evening, veering W 10-15 overnight.

Tuesday is looking to be a belter, with sunny intervals and the risk of a few showers (yes that does make it a belter for February).

Wind will be a W 10-15, veering W or NW 15-20, then backing SW 10-15 later.

No time for Mystic Moz this week, it’s just the weather chaos we are interested in this week.

She’ll be back, she’s just teaching a few patiences lessons here and there.
