Nearly two years on from the government unveiling plans for solar panels at the NSC, an MHK is to ask what progress has been made.
In July 2023, Manx Utilities said solar panels would be installed at the Sea Terminal, Noble’s and the NSC, with the car park at the NSC also being used with raised structures being built there.
Manx Utilities’ website said the plans were “scheduled to be completed between 2024 and 2026 to support our aim to deliver at least 10MW of local solar renewable generation”.
When Tynwald sits tomorrow Jason Moorhouse will ask chairman John Wanneburgh for an update on plans for the NSC.
Last year Mr Wannenburgh said he expected work at the NSC to progress this year.
