It’s a mixed bag this weekend, but the one constant is the wind that is quite beautifully drying out the wet ground – which will become rather soggy again after Sunday, great.
It is going to be largely cloudy today (March 9) with the risk of a few outbreaks of rain at times (I know I know, I tried to ignore that part).
But there will be a strong east-northeast wind and a top temperature of 8°C.
Upside, the nights are stretching out, sunset tonight will be 6:10pm, it really can’t be all that long until beer gardens will be our haven.
Wind to start Sunday
Rain will be present to start off Sunday (March 10), and a fair bit of it with 1-6mm forecast.
Although this is allegedly meant to clear as the day progresses (thank you).
There will be a risk of coastal overtopping around time of high tide (11:20am & 11:40pm).
Fresh to strong northeast wind decreasing later; for you hard core weather watches its a NE 25-30, decreasing 20-25 in the afternoon, backing NE 15-20 overnight.
With a highest temperature of 9°C.

Monday (March 11), I bring you good news! Dry and bright but fairly cloudy, DRY I REPEAT DRY!!!!
Slight breeze of NE 15-20, decreasing 10-15, veering E or SE later.

Tuesday
I do not believe it (read in the voice of Victor Meldrew, I shall insert link after the weather, please watch and enjoy), Tuesday is going to be fair wet!
Dry to start then occasional rain (2-7mm) soon arriving. Risk of coastal mist and fog developing at times.
There will be a fair ol’ breeze with a S 10-15, soon veering S-SW 20-25 occasionally 32 later.
Visibility will be moderate or good, occasionally poor in rain or mist. Very poor in any coastal fog. Hill fog developing.
Met Office comments are: Strong winds soon developing. Risk of coastal overtopping around time of high tide (~12:45pm and ~1am (Wed))
