Work to replace around 1,600 cats’ eyes from the Island’s highways has been announced.
The DOI said the work is part of a major improvement scheme which will see around 8,500 new ones installed on around 50 miles of roads.
Work will start on Fishers Hill Gansey with a road closure scheduled from 9:30am to 3:30pm all of next week.
