A world record breaking Pilates event raised £22,000 for an impressive list of Isle of Man charities.
The gathering at Knockaloe, the birthplace of the exercise in World War One, saw an incredible 2,804 people simultaneously perform the standing roll down movement – a world record.
The gathering fell short of beating the record for the largest ever Pilates class. That record belongs to Turkey where 3,486 participants took part in 2013.
The event was organised as part of Ramsey Crookall’s 80th anniversary celebrations in collaboration with 34Moves and Visit Isle of Man.
