Around 1,400 young people will be offered the chance to explore a wide range of careers at an event in Douglas next week.
The Department of Education, Sport and Culture’s Employment and Skills 2025 event encourages students to have open conversations with employers.
Students from secondary schools, University College Isle of Man and King William’s College will be able to speak to around 60 employers representing a diverse range of sectors, including the creative industries, finance and engineering.
Apprenticeships, internships and other routes to professional qualifications through employment will also be showcased.

Daphne Caine MHK, Minister for Education, Sport and Culture, said: “Employment and Skills continues to be a valuable event, helping students to explore the wide range of opportunities available in the Isle of Man.
“It’s a chance for young people to discover different pathways that align with their interests, skills and future aspirations – and to speak directly with employers who can offer guidance and insight, so they can make informed choices about their future.”
Taking place at the Villa Marina on Thursday, November 13, the event will be open to the general public from 2:30pm to 5:00pm.
Hospitality and Catering students from University College Isle of Man will demonstrate their skills by providing lunch for exhibitors and special guests.
