Callum Gawne and Helen Davies were respective winners of Sunday mornings 10km race walking championships.
The championships were held at the NSC roadway, with supporting races over shorter distances.
The 10km champion was Callum Gawne with a fine performance after an injury concern.
He looked smooth and fast throughout, walking a very impressive time of 48:39.
Gianni Epifani gave his usual 100% commitment and was rewarded with a sub-50 clocking of 49:43. In the bronze medal position was Neil Wade with 51:01.
10km Race Walking Champs
Chris Addy was fourth in a time of 57:00, and a few strides behind came the women’s champion Helen Davies with 57:04.
Both Chris and Helen were around one minute faster over the second 5km than they were in the first half of the race.
Holly Salter was impressive in the U17 Women 5km race with 28:52, followed by Amy Surgeon with 31:50 and Honey-Mae Davies with 33:38.
Juniors
Lilee Fletcher was the victor in the U15 Girls 3km race with 16:28, despite misjudging the laps and thinking she had another lap to go when she crossed the line! Polly Davies was second in 19:54.
In the U13 2km race, Jay Jay Fletcher was the winner in a very good time of 11:58, followed closely by Jack Davies with 12:10.
The girls race was won by Sienna Curphey in 13:23 followed by Grace Mercer in 17:23.
In the 1km race for U11 Girls the winner was Amelia Cain in 7:57 followed by Willow Curphey with 8:48 and Hope Curphey with 9:08.
