Callum Gawne won the men’s title on his debut of the MFX Ltd End to End Walk.
Callum produced a brilliant performance on his event debut, holding off a tremendous late charge from Dean Morgan to win by just under three minutes.
His time of 6:27:24 is the fifth fastest recorded on the west-side course which has been used since 2002. Ryan Surridge was third.
There were 136 finishers, 16 up on last year.
That is the best since 2020 and the second best since 2012, which confirms that the event is really thriving once again. This is wonderful to see.
