The beloved IOM Young Farmers Christmas Tractor Run is back for the 2026 festive period, with an extra-special appearance in the offing.
The convoy will cover a southern loop on Saturday, December 5, before taking on the annual ‘big loop’ the following day. A maximum of 75 vehicles will take part, with a cap having been introduced for safety reasons.
It has also been confirmed that an additional visit is planned in Strand Street, opposite Marks & Spencers, for late night shopping on November 26.
This year, the run will be in aid of Manx Mencap and Cruse Bereavement Support Isle of Man, with organisers urging anyone who can to donate to “two fantastic local charities, doing such important work within our community”.
A Just Giving page will go live in the coming weeks to accept contributions, as well as the usual collection buckets on the runs themselves.
Last year alone, over £30,000 was raised for charity, bringing the total to over £120,000 since the event was introduced.
The yearly agricultural pilgrimage has become a firm fixture on the festive calendar, with the near two mile-long stretch of glittering machinery set to light up the island’s roads once more this December.
