£19,500 raised for Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation

A local law firm have raised £19,500 for Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation in Isle of Man.

Pringle Law held its 5th Golf Day in August last year and raised £7163, which was split equally between the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation in the Isle of Man and Naseem’s Brain Tumour Charity.

This brought the total raised by Pringle Law for the charity to a staggering £19,500.

This event has been pivotal in the charity’s fundraising calendar and has not only raised awareness and funds but also provided a fabulous day out for everyone who joined them.

Although Pringle Law does support other charities on the island, there is a personal aspect to the managing director of Pringle Law, Pam Pringle, supporting the lung cancer foundation.

Sadly, Pam’s mother died from lung cancer, and Heather Christian, Pam’s partner Dennis’ dear friend, is living with Stage 4 lung cancer.

Heather is Roy Castle’s patient advocate and tirelessly helps others affected by this indiscriminate and life-threatening disease.

The funds raised have expanded the charity’s reach into the Manx community and made a significant impact on the support and services it can offer to people affected by lung cancer.
