More than 1,000 young people across the Isle of Man received their Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications today, including GCSEs, IGCSEs and BTECs.
Most students collected their results in person from their school, with staff on hand to offer advice and support as they consider their next steps.
Provisional 2025 Isle of Man school results for Level 1 and 2 qualifications:
- Overall Level 1 and 2 pass rate (IGCSE/GCSE grades A*–G or equivalent) is 98%
- Level 2 pass rate (IGCSE/GCSE grades A*–C or equivalent) is 71%
- Pass rate at the highest grades (IGCSE/GCSE grades A*–A or equivalent) is 20%
Students receiving results today also include those studying technical and vocational qualifications at University College Isle of Man or within their school as part of their Key Stage 4 options.
Next Steps
Early indications suggest that around 90% of this year’s cohort will continue their studies in sixth form or further education courses at UCM in September.
Around 10% are expected to move directly into employment.

Qualified careers advisers will be available throughout the summer results period for additional sessions to help young people consider their next steps.
