The Department of Infrastructure will clear roadside ditches on Clarum Lane, which is off the Ballaragh Road in Lonan from next week.
Works are due to start on Monday and are expected take up to two weeks to complete.
A DOI spokesperson said: “There will be a temporary road closure in place due the period of the works but with access afforded to residential properties and farming land. A letter will be delivered to those affected later this week.”
