Whitebride Road in Onchan will be closed for roadworks tomorrow morning.
It will close from 9.30am for up to two to three hours to allow for road surface treatment to be applied.
The section closed will be between School Road and Begoade Road.
The DoI said: “Whilst this work is underway no through traffic will be permitted, other than scheduled buses which will be marshalled through the closure.
“Vehicular ingress and egress to properties within the closure will be permitted where possible, but will be likely be subject to delays.”
KielyLock is a road surface treatment used in conjunction with the traditional surface dressing process. The primary function of the treatment is to “Lock” the chipping into the road surface, which stops the ingress of water, and resultant damage to the treated road surface.
