Today marks the first time winter saloon 1 will be used in passenger service on the Douglas Bay Horse Tramway since 2018.
It has not been used in service on the prom since the DoI’s work to redo the prom, which left the horse trams ending near an unmarked junction.
Throughout the day, the tramway will be operating with winter saloon 1 and the 1883 double decker, tram number 18.
