While islanders have enjoyed a day of fun the sun, Port Erin RNLI was called out four times.
As the sun was shining, islanders flocked to arguably the best beach on the island, but that came with dangers.
The lifeboat station said: “Today in Port Erin might have looked lovely to most, the sun was shining and the queue from the Ice Cream shop was huge!
“However, there was also a strong offshore wind which caught out 11 people in total.”
It said its four launches saw eight people assisted, three lives saved and a scutch of paddleboards recovered.
“Please, if you are planning on hitting the water on your own, or with your family,” it added.
“Please be prepared, take the right equipment and look out for each other. There were some people today that didn’t know their family were in imminent danger.”
