Port Erin’s branch of the Royal British Legion is appealing for volunteers to join as committee members.
Juan Watterson SHK, who is the branch president, said it is struggling to fill role after long serving members stepped down.
The branch’s main functions are to run the Poppy Appeal in Port Erin, as well as the Parade and Remembrance Sunday Service at the Parish Church.
Mr Watterson said: “We are struggling to recruit a full committee, with a number of office holders standing down after long and devoted service to the branch, we need some volunteers to step up – or the branch may have to close.
“Please don’t let this year be our last!”
The committee meets four times a year, to volunteer your time or for more info, contact Mr Watterson at juanwatterson@gmail.com.
