Chicken Rock Lighthouse is the subject of an episode of Our Lives series.
The episode focuses on the Northern Lighthouse Board, which is responsible for the lighthouses here and in Scotland.
Available now on the BBC iPlayer, the episode shows the batteries being replaced at the lighthouse, work which will sustain it through the next two decades.
