The DoI, on behalf of DEFA, has made a new bid to find a tenant for the Dhoon cafe kiosk which has been empty for most of the year.
Little Shed at The Glen closed in January with the owners citing the increased rent demand as part of their reasoning, as well as the widely known issues with the hospitality sector, to walk away.
In its latest post, the government is advertising “the rental of Dhoon Kiosk Café & the opportunity of non-exclusive use of the large picnic area below the kiosk to host events & functions etc”.
The asking price for the rent is “in the region of £4,800 plus VAT”.
