The war of words between Lawrie Hooper and Alf Cannan shows no sign of slowing down.
The Chief Minister has made several stinging comments in Tynwald today, which follow on from Mr Hooper’s own strong statement yesterday.
Today Mr Cannan accused Mr Hooper of seeking to “lay the blame of his own failings at the door of the Council of Ministers”.
Responding to the sitting on Twitter, Mr Hooper asked whether his former ministerial colleagues were happy to continue serving in the current administration.
He said: “Pretty desperate last ditch attempt. Absolutely incredulous behaviour from someone who is supposed to be a leader.
“Not unexpected though and hopefully it shows what I’ve been up against. Are his Ministers are willing to stand behind someone who behaves like this?”
