With stormy weather forecast for Sunday, Beach Buddies has decided to postpone its planned cleanup this weekend.
The charity had been due to head to Niarbyl.
However, it said: “WE WERE planning to go to Niarbyl on Sunday but the weather forecast predicts gale force winds and heavy rain, so we have decided to postpone for a week and will try to go to Niarbyl next weekend.”
Sunday’s forecast is for heavy rain early on with S or SE 30-35 winds with gusts of 60-65 at first, veering W or SW and decreasing 20-25 later.
