The DoI will report on progress with the recommendations on improvements to footpaths next year.
It was due to report back on the Select Committee on Footpaths, Bridleways and Green Lanes recommendations in October.
Minister Michelle Haywood said it is now intended to go to the April 2025 sitting of Tynwald.
She said: “The report is undergoing further assessment in collaboration with the Working Group to ensure that funding options are thoroughly investigated, in order to commence funding identification to enable the implementation of the proposed strategy.
“The report will be submitted to the Register of Business by April 1 2025 and it is anticipated that it will be debated at the April 2025 sitting of Tynwald.”
