Douglas East MHK Joney Faragher has been made a political member for bus and rail within the Department of Infrastructure.
Faragher says she is “really looking forward to working with Bus Vannin and the railways teams”.
She says she is “keen to find out more and see how we can improve” on the bus services.
In October, Faragher has joined Lawrie Hooper MHK in expressing concern over what is happening to the island’s health service, and as a result quit her role with the health department.
Earlier this month, Joney and Lawrie were appointed by the Council of Ministers as department members within the DoI.
