Black Grace Cowley has paid tribute to one of its founding partners, Patrick Cowley, after he passed away on New Year’s Day.
Alongside Mark Grace and Geoff Black, Mr Cowley founded the estate agent in 1994.
The company said that “his incredible influence can be seen in everything that we do, and he will always be our ultimate role model”.
It added: “Over a long and successful career, Patrick very much changed estate agency on the island with his wonderful charisma, strong work ethic, and enthusiasm; and he will always be remembered for his exceptional wit and his trademark dickie-bow.
“It’s hard to believe there has ever been a more popular businessman on this island and he will be sorely missed by his family and each and every person who had the pleasure of knowing him.
“RIP Patrick – we were so lucky to have you in our lives.”
