A crash on the Creg Ny Baa back road this morning left one person trapped in a vehicle.
The incident involved one vehicle and happened shortly before 8am.
Fire crews from Douglas and Laxey were called to the incident and discovered a single vehicle on its side with one occupant still inside.
Crews worked alongside the Police and Ambulance service to transfer the occupant out of the vehicle.
The vehicle was then made safe for recovery by the Isle of Man Fire and Rescue team, before they left the scene in the hands of the Police.
Emergency services are urging drivers to take additional care this morning when travelling around the island due to significant ice patches on the roads.
