The Department of Infrastructure’s drainage teams is undertaking maintenance works on the New Castletown Road in Santon this week.
The works will be taking place on the pavement on Brown Cow Hill, just to the south of Newtown, Santon.
The team will be there during working hours until Friday of this week (February 7).
Although the work is off the road, servicing the site involves slow moving site vehicles entering and leaving the site throughout the day.
The DoI ask members of the public to be aware and be prepared to slow down.
Incoming Road Works
Next week road works will start on the New Castletown Road.
Work to resurface a section of the carriageway just north of this will start on Monday (February 10).
Two way traffic will be maintained during the resurfacing works through the use of temporary traffic lights.
