Billy Harris and partner Marcus Willis have made it through to the second round of the men’s doubles at Wimbledon.
Harris bounced back from yesterday’s loss in the singles as he and Willis claimed a straight sets win over Alex Bublik and Flavio Cobolli 7-6, 7-6.
After a tight first set saw Hilly and Willis win on a tie breaker, however in the sixth game the Bublik and Cobolli duo picked up a break and took a 4-2 lead with a chance to win the set on their service games.
Breaking back to level the set, it went to 6-6 for a second time with Harris and Willis taking an early lead in the tie break.
The GB duo raced into an early lead in the tie break and when a match point came their way, they didn’t waste it to book their ticket to the second round.
