New plans have been submitted to demolish the former Newson’s buildings on North Quay in Douglas.
If approved, Number 27 would be replaced with one retail unit and one apartment, Number 28 with one retail unit and one townhouse.
The site sits within the North Quay Conservation Area and numbers 27 and 28 North Quay are included on the Protected Buildings Register.
Planning approval was granted in June to demolish and rebuild the other attached properties on the site, numbers 22, 23, 25 and 26.
