Warm & Wet Weekend

A rather mixed weekend and few days ahead with rain, strong force winds, sunshine and the a fair few weather warnings.

Today will be a mostly nice enough day with bright and sunny spells, but don’t get lulled into a false sense of security.

It will become rather breezy with fresh southeast winds developing later on, however we will still be blessed with a maximum temperature 19°C.

Sunday is a rather different day with rain soon developing in the morning with strong southeast winds.

Not All Bad

It will clear to sunny intervals later in the afternoon or evening as winds swing southwest and ease.

There will be strong winds with a SE 25-32 forecast which will veer S-SW 20-25, backing S or SE 25-32 later.

There is also a risk of coastal overtopping around time of high tide (~12pm and ~12:15am Mon)

Wet, Windy & Warm

Monday will be a warm day again with highs of 17°C and lows of 12°C.

It’ll be a mainly dry and bright to start, then occasional rain or showers soon arriving.

It will be rather windy with S or SE 25-35 with gusts 40-50, soon veering S 20-25, veering SW 15-20 later.

There is another risk of coastal overtopping around time of high tide (~12:30pm and ~12:45am Tue).

Getting Better

The weather will be starting to get its sh*t back together on Tuesday as the gale force winds bugger off.

There will be the occasional shower that may merge into longer spells of rain at times.

However the wind will have calmed down to a SW 15-20, soon backing S or SW 10-15, backing SE 20-25 later.

There is again a warning of coastal overtopping around time of high tide (~1:15pm and ~1:30am Wed).

No Mystic Moz this week – if you listen to Welcome to Friday (I’ll link below) you’ll hear why I’m just happy to see the end of this week.
