UPDATE: THE ROAD HAS NOW REOPENED
The Police are asking people to avoid a section of Harris Promenade after an RTC this evening.
There is an emergency road closure in place for that section of road between the two roundels and the bottom section of Broadway below Derby Road.
Drivers are asked to use an alternative route.
If you have witnessed anything in relation to this incident or have any relevant dashcam footage, you are asked to call Police HQ on 631212 quoting reference P070925035.
As a result, buses are not currently serving that area of Douglas, but Bus Vannin has not indicated which route they are heading.
