Four sides with perfect starts to their league campaigns face each other this weekend with big games at the top of both divisions in men’s football.
Laxey will take the trip south to Rushen in the Premier League while Castletown host Marown.
With four games gone of the top flight season, the miners and the Spaniards are the only two with perfect records, sitting top on 12 points, two ahead of Corinthians and five ahead of Ayre and unbeaten Onchan.
With the two set to face off at Croit Lowey, Corinthians will look to pounce on dropped points as they face Old Boys, who have lost four from four since returning to the top flight.
Elsewhere in the league, Onchan head to Ayre, Braddan host Foxdale and Ramsey face St John’s.
Division Two
The bizarre nature of Division Two leaves Castletown on 12 points and Marown on six as the only two sides with perfect starts in the hunt for promotion.
At least one of those records will come to an end on Saturday as they face each other down in the ancient capital.
Looking to benefit one or both of them sides dropping points are second placed Colby and third placed Pulrose, who meet at Station Fields.
The other games in Div2 sees Malew welcome D&D and Governors Athletic packing their sarnies for the long trip north to RYCOB.
