A planned protest by the island’s referees could see the majority of men’s and women’s football postponed this weekend.
As first reported by the Manx Footy Pod, only three matches currently have referees appointed to them.
Manx.News has spoken to a referee who confirmed that the action is a result of dissatisfaction with a range of issues affecting the Manx game, including with the Isle of Man FA.
They added that talks are planned on Wednesday night to try to resolve the issue with the MFP reporting the FA is confident that games will go ahead.
It is understood that FC Isle of Man’s game on Saturday evening will not be impacted.
