World-renowned photographer Philippe Ricordel will bring his Wildlife Photography Show on tour to the island next week.
The event will feature photography, short films and live commentary on his experiences.
Ricordel, a French photographer, said: “Animals are only ever the mirror of ourselves, in the eyes of each animal, we look at ourselves and see another world, a world that should be protected because we are part of it, completely.
“Consequently I think that popularization and education are key elements in raising awareness of environmental change”.
The show, ‘Wildlife on Ice from Japan to Antarctica’, journeys from Hokkaido to the Ross Sea.
