The second round of the Isle of Man Rifle Association Winter League brought some fine shooting — and one notable upset.
Defending champions Port St Mary were beaten at home by a strong Laxey side, 476–477, with standout performances from John Wood (98) and Harry Creevy (97) for the visitors.
Donna Gardner led the home team with 97.
Good Form
Sulby continued their good form with a 470–277 win over Kirk Michael, thanks to a top score of 98 from Peter Faragher.
Meanwhile, Douglas claimed victory over Sandsiders, 476–440, despite an excellent 98 from Jean Quaye for the losing side.
A solid night’s shooting all round, with several competitors already showing fine early-season form.
