Defending champions Peel won an amazing game at Laxey on Saturday to drag themselves back into Railway Cup contention.
With Corinthians game with Ramsey postponed, Laxey had the chance to go top on Saturday with what would be their game in hand.
However, Peel spoilt the party with a stunning 4-5 win at Glen Road under the watchful gaze of Paul Hatton and his camera which captured Lee Gale’s winner.
Onchan however stuttered in their bid to cement a Railway Cup spot as they drew 2-2 at home against bottom side Foxdale.
Peel’s Old Firm rivals Rushen also won to keep up their fight for a top four spot at midway as they beat Ayre 2-3 in Andreas, however with Peel having two games in hand, they know it is not fully under their control.
Elsewhere in the top flight there were big wins for St John’s 6-1 and St Marys 6-2, as they beat Braddan and Union Mills respectively.

Castletown returned to the top of the second flight as they come from behind to beat rivals Colby 5-3,
Behind them, Pulrose beat D&D 9-1 to leave them five points behind with a game in hand, while Marown beat Governors 5-0 and St Georges and Malew played out a 3-3 draw, which was witnessed by Dean Turton from Upfront Footy.
