Defending champions Peel beat Onchan on Saturday to claim what could be a vital win in this year’s title race.
They beat Onchan 2-0 at Douglas Road to go within seven points of the top with two games in hand.
With the tight game tied 0-0 at halftime before Taylor Andrews and Lee Gale scored two inside 10 second half minutes to secure the win.
Over at Ballafletcher, a Luke Murray hat trick set leaders Corinthians on their way to a 5-1 win over Ayre Utd with Josh Ridings and Morgan Naylor scoring the other two.
The game of the day almost certainly came at Garey Mooar where Union Mills and Ramsey played out a 4-4 draw. The Alberts’ goals came from Tom Chatel (2), Cameron Torr and Ollie Eyres. Sadly Mill’s scorers aren’t on FullTime at the time of writing.
The other game in the top flight saw St Mary’s win 2-5 away at Braddan.
Division Two
Marown and RYCOB moved closer to the top two on Saturday with big wins in the Ardern & Druggan Division Two.
Marown beat D&D 1-8, while RYCOB beat St Georges 4-2.
In the other game in the second flight, Douglas Royal beat Governors Athletic 7-3.
