Fire crews were called to Church Avenue in Onchan at around 8pm last night after reports of a structure fire.
Three appliances and the Duty Officer attended from Douglas Fire Station.
Firefighters found the blaze contained to a bedroom, with all occupants already safely outside.
Breathing apparatus teams used hose reels to extinguish the fire and thermal imaging cameras to ensure it hadn’t spread.
Crews remained on scene for roughly two hours.
The Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service reminded residents of the importance of weekly smoke alarm tests and urged caution when using candles, including keeping them away from flammable materials and ensuring they are fully extinguished before leaving a room.
