Progress on the long awaited reconstruction of Port St Mary High Street has moved a step forward, according to Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall MHK.
Responding to a written question from Rushen MHK Dr Michelle Haywood, the Minister confirmed that the business case for the project has now been formally submitted to Treasury for consideration.
Dr Haywood’s question asked for an update on the development of the business case and when on‑site work might begin.
While the Minister did not provide a projected start date, the submission of the business case marks a key milestone in the approval process.
