The Hospital Cup provided a good chance for Colby to show their credentials for next season as they beat Premier League Ramsey.
Division 2 champions in waiting Colby beat the northerners 2-1 at Station Fields on Saturday thanks to goal from Jordan and Oliver Edge.
The other results in the cup were: Castletown 1-3 Braddan, Colby 2-1 Ramsey, Foxdale 1-4 Union Mills, Marown 2-3 St Marys, Onchan 2-1 Laxey, Peel 9-1 RYCOB, Rushen 3-2 Douglas Royal.
In the Canada Life Premier League, Old Boys’ relegation was confirmed as they lost 4-5 away at Ayre and the only game in Div2 saw Governors Athletic lose 0-2 at home to D&D.
