Organisers of the Southern 100 Road Races have announced the provisional schedule for the 2026 event, which will take place from July 6 to 9.
The programme largely follows recent formats, beginning with qualifying sessions on Monday evening and continuing on Tuesday with further qualifying and the opening races.
A new addition for 2026 is a Wednesday morning qualifying session, aimed at giving riders more track time and flexibility in case of weather disruption.
Racing will continue on Wednesday evening, before Championship Day on Thursday, when the main races will be held.
In a change to tradition, the Solo Championship Race will now close the meeting, with the Sidecar Championship Race moved to the penultimate slot.
Race Secretary Rachel Palmer said the extra session was made possible through support from marshals, medics and landowners, and would benefit both organisers and competitors.
The event will conclude with a prize presentation in the Fanzone on Thursday evening.
