Ombudsman Body Seeks New Members

The Health and Social Care Ombudsman Body is inviting applications for new members to help assess unresolved complaints about health and social care services.

No formal qualifications in health or social care are required, though applicants should demonstrate a strong interest in improving services.

Since its launch in March 2023, the body has reviewed more than 120 complaints.

An informal recruitment meeting will take place on Wednesday, April 29 from 1pm to 4pm at the Santander Work Café in Douglas, offering prospective members the chance to meet current representatives and learn more about the role.

Further details are available on the HSCOB webpage and government social media channels.

Interested individuals can also contact the Department of Health and Social Care directly.
