The Isle of Man women’s national team may have fallen short in the Cherry Godfrey Cup final, but two Manx players left Guernsey with major individual accolades.
Becky Corkish was awarded Spirit of the Tournament, recognising her leadership and commitment across the weekend.
Sarah Wignall claimed both Goal of the Tournament and the competition’s top honour, Player of the Tournament, after a standout series of performances.
The final itself ended in heartbreak for the island side, with Jersey winning 6–5 on penalties after a tight contest.
The Isle of Man squad were praised for their quality throughout the tournament and urged to “hold your heads high” after a strong campaign.
