Claire Christian has announced she will stand again for Douglas South in September’s House of Keys General Election.
Ms Christian highlights a record focused on accessibility, transparency and hands on community support.
In a letter to constituents, Christian said her work since first being elected in 2020, and re‑elected in 2021, has centred on improving public services and responding directly to residents’ concerns.
She pointed to recent local improvements including surface dressing on Saddle Road and planned works across Spring Valley, Farmhill Meadows, Manor Drive and Ballaquark.
Christian also emphasised collaboration with Douglas City Council and community groups, alongside casework supporting people facing homelessness, mental health crises and difficulties accessing healthcare.
She said affordability, small business support and stronger community engagement will remain priorities if re‑elected.
Her candidacy joins the growing field ahead of polling day on September 24.
Sarah Maltby has also announced her intention to seek re-election.
