Fire crews were called out just after midnight to a hedge fire in Baldrine.
Two appliances, a water bowser and a duty officer attended at 00:21, where they found a well‑developed fire involving a section of hedgerow.
A high‑pressure hose reel was used to bring the blaze under control.
Because of the rural location, extra resources were needed to maintain water supplies.
Crews remained on scene for around 45 minutes, damping down and ensuring the fire was fully extinguished.
