A charity music show at the Gaiety Theatre is set to bring election‑season humour to the stage this September.
Carry On Up Prospect Hill will run on September 3 and 4, featuring singers, musicians and a compere in a light‑hearted mix of comedy and reworked well‑known songs.
Organisers say the show pokes fun at the drama and energy of election time without mentioning any members of Tynwald or criticising government.
Producer Peter Greenhill said the first half focuses on the build‑up to polling day, with familiar tunes adapted to fit the theme. The second half turns to winners and losers, continuing the musical comedy.
All proceeds will be shared between four island charities: Hospice Isle of Man, Forget Me Not, Naseem’s Manx Brain Tumour Charity and Manx National Heritage.
Tickets are on sale now via the Villa Gaiety Box Office.
